he is all round good reader characters are good like D,S Scott
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
no just enjoyed a good book now to next in series
I enjoyed this book but I found some aspects annoying. I didn't think the main character's domestic situation was dealt with very well, it wasn't believable. It seemed to lack the emotional intensity that would have been present in those circumstances. In particular the decision to take his wife back with her child was badly written and lacked depth.
I found the plot rather predictable and it was obvious who would end up dead and who posed the threat. I don't think this was as good as the previous books but it was still a good book and the narrator was excellent.

Any additional comments?
Storyline and narration good, but I found it very confusing as there was no break between one scene and the next. When reading a book, you can see that the story has moved on to a new situation, but when listening you are relying on a pause or a change of voice to allow your brain to adjust. In this narration, there is absolutely nothing to give a clue that things have moved from one scenario to the next.
