Absolutely. This was a complete story with beginning, middle and ending, and could be read as a stand alone.

Lucas Soul. Interesting protagonist and a story arc I've never seen before. Fascinating, it grabbed me by the throat and yanked me along for the ride.

Which scene was your favorite?

Fight scene in the alley.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Giddy with excitement and looking forward to listening to the other books in the series.

Any additional comments?

The narrative added to the enjoyment, and Michael Bower did a phenomenal job with the different characters. In fact, if Michael Bower is the narrator, I'm going to buy the Seventeen series books in audio as they're published. Yes, they're THAT good.

Review of Dancing Blades

This short story has a bit of humor and quite a bit of action. Lucas is hellbent on learning for a master so much so that he pretty much becomes a stalker in a funny way. He befriends a child that may be the key to getting the training he so desperately wants. Michael Bower really amazed me how he brought this book to life and gave it voice.
