What the Critics Say

"Antonia Beamish raises popular British novelist Bolton's psychological thriller to the next level. Beamish's enthusiastic narration grabs the listener from the opening lines and maintains her hold to the end.... Set aside time for this one because once started, it demands to be finished." Fascinating

My first Bolton mystery. It is just excellent: tightly plotted, well drawn characters and very hard to not listen to in one sitting. It's perfect for a snowy weekend.

Couldn't stop listening!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This was amazing. I can't risk giving anything away, but as an avid listener of books in my life there are few that I will remember for the rest of my life. This one I will remember.
Had me give up in all things in my day just so I could finish listening to the story. Edge of my seat all the way!

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the characters. The teasing out of details. The organization of the story and the way they dished out each clue. Wonderful

Which scene was your favorite?

Too many to count. I can't believe I have never listened to this authors books before. That's going to change, I can't wait to find her next book.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The ending. When things could have gone 4 different ways. I was soooo tense waiting to see what was going to happen next!

Any additional comments?
