Publisher's summary

Perpetually foiled romance heroine Island Chaptal and reformed cleaning expert March - or is it Mr. November? - are enjoying a pleasant break in South Africa, after brushing with death in the inhospitable and platypus-infested mountains of Liechtenstein.

That is, until a commercial flight disintegrates over the Atlantic, killing hundreds, and Island's supervillain dad makes the news as the mastermind behind the attack. Old Lion Dries is now on the run, and he calls upon his last ally - and favorite disciple - March.

From the streets of Venice to the turquoise waters of French Polynesia, March and Island embark on a deadly race against the clock to find out what secrets lie behind Dries's downfall, and stop the mysterious Crystal Whisperer before it's too late. This time, though, there might just be no winning against futuristic weapons, CIA agents, Roomba cats, (reluctantly) evil henchmen, and dads who won't let you get your groove on, dammit!

Wonderfully good, can't wait for the next one!

These books move at a very nice pace, filled with well developed characters, wry humor and unexpected turns. Start at book one and you won't regret it. My usual is space opera, preferably military space operas and Scandinavian murder mysteries so you can see this is not my usual. Totally captivated me!

Thank You

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

It definitely did! After loving the first book (but hating the second) I was a little worried for this one. However, it did not disappoint. I felt like it was back on track with it's quirky charm and emotional drama that kept you on a fast-paced journey through multiple countries and sticky situations.

Which character – as performed by Amy McFadden – was your favorite?

March is (and will always be) my favorite! Amy McFadden not only gives March his proper accent but she goes so far as to speak Afrikaans.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I almost did!

Any additional comments?

This book was by far my favorite in the series.

a bit repetitive of the first two novels

The great premise and fascinating, complex Mr. November led to my true enjoyment of the first two books in the Spotless series. This one seemed a bit like more of the same, with an attenuated plot. Terrific narration.

NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!

I am DYING HERE!!!! I can't TAKE IT!!!

I love these books!!! It took FOREVER for book 3 to come out!!!

Now I have to wait for book 4 ????

Can you tell I am really upset, my advice wait to start the series. It is so good! It is a crime to leave us hanging!!

Amy McFadden is wonderful!!! I love the main characters Island and March!!! Camilla begins each chapter in a unique way. It seems like forever since book 2 but, Camilla did a great job of recapping in book 3 without repeating.

I highly recommend this series but only if you don't mind waiting!

I NEED MORE

This book definitely moved forward the plot, and the ending...Phew. Despite the usual light humor scattered throughout, this book felt heavier than the last two. I won't spoil anything, you just have to listen/read for yourself. I am, however, going to breathlessly awaiting the next book in the series!

I found myself spacing out

The story is good and the characters are so lovable. I just think there may have been moments of the story that had me a little spaced out.

Oh but the cliffhanger!!! Good thing the next book is out otherwise I would cry fat tears. I am in love with the characters and Island's quest for lego-ing.

Oh yes--this is fun from beginning to end.

I came across Spotless series and so happy I did.

The main character is Island who started out as an IT engineer, top or her class, to be abducted by an assassin, to jump all over the world to help find the largest diamond ever and why her—well her mom stole it. Her mother had died years ago, and Island doesn’t really know much about anything, until her hazardous adventure begins.

• Book 1-Spotless, sets into story, characters and the adventure on its way. —Great Book
• Book 2-Beating Ruby, shows us that attraction between Island and March is developing, how life keeps getting in their way as they are in the middle of another adventure. —Great Book
• Book 3-Crystal Whisperer, is where the CSI, the Lions and others they trusted show are out to destroy Island and March, all because of Dries (Island’s biological father). Great action and story development. Greater Book
• Book 4-Butterfly in Amber, takes you places you never expected. I will only say excellent writing and a must read. Island will understand how much she is loved and to what ends her loved ones will go to for her. Ongoing action that you will not want to put down. I LOVE THIS BOOK—This book doesn’t miss any character, doesn’t miss any action, it has humor (so much humor), battles, love, emotional scenes—just it has everything!
• Novella—Apache Strike Force, is basically, March meets Island’s daddy. Very interesting and FUNNY! It’s so worth the money. From my understanding, there is only one more book for the series. For all of you how are interested there will be one more book in this series. “Island Chaptal and the Ancient Aliens’ Treasure”, coming out 12-12-2017. (found on Camilla Monk’s author page)

You need to read them all to get the full weight of the story—Excellent series Camilla Monk. I can’t your next book.

Amy McFadden does a great job. You are the voice of The Spotless series. —applause to you.

LOVE IT

A man is supposed to keep his woman, well feed, well dressed and well fucked. That is the best line in the book. My first tears came after Joy, Island's roommate finds her bound in her bed with a man in the room. She sings, Oh my God finally with the religious fervor of seeing Christ raise from the dead. I am listening to it for the fourth time, that part, not the book. Joy is so funny. Her BFF is trussed up looking ready for a BDSM session is about to happen. Before leaving the room, she asks, can I get you guys anything, booze, toys, protection? I don’t want to say anything about the book except is damn funny. Oh yea, I am a taking one star because the author plays that same old played plot line of… I hate him, I hate him, but his ass really looks good. I want to jump his bones. Hum, I must give that star back. read it and you will know why.
