Another Hit For C G Cooper! ,

I enjoyed the first book in this series, but this one surpassed that! Cooper has a way of bringing the characters in his books to life in a big way. I never saw the ending in this book coming. I can't wait for the next book in the series. Don't miss this one.

Ok story Wrong Narrator

I have listened to the first two books in this series and won't be listening to any more. The story is simple and the story telling plain. The writing, character development, plots and action are all minimal. The characters aren't developed, they are plopped down whole into the story. There is no dribbling out of interesting details or characteristics as they are discovered - they are simply presented. The result is a loss of intrigue or discovery. Actually the story is very predictable. This is not a page turner. There is some action but no suspense, no excitement. The narrator doesn't help. His voice is all wrong - too deep and hard to hear, and he doesn't do voices well. In addition, this and the first book contain only male characters which is totally unrealistic. (the women are either dead or props like a waitress).
