Critic reviews

“A delightful tale of sex and violence.... ‘Sopranos’-style.... Slick, sophisticated fun.” (The Washington Post)

“Loaded with perfumed sex, sleek jets and yachts, lavish homes, boutiques, gourmet cuisine, quirky twists and nonstop action, Woods' pulpy pedestrian plot is grand fun.” (Publishers Weekly)

Not really worth the time.

Barrington would be much better off if. he didn't let his penis do his thinking. I'm surprised that he has not gotten a social disease. When did Bob Burman become Bob Cantor?, and Mr. Woods, excuse me but, Black people don't talk like Step and Fetchit in the real world, we actually speak English very well Jerk!!

Before he started mailing them in.

Classic Stuart Woods. I really like the narrator as well. Mindless but lots of fun.

Love Tony Roberts

I had already purchased this book that had a different narrator. I spent the money again to get the Audible version with Tony Roberts.

Fun

This one was light and had some really hilarious banter. Good read on a drive.

Tony Roberts Saves the Book

We can't seem to ever seem to actually end a book but it is nice to see characters interweaved throughout the series. At some point new material is needed but the stories are entertaining and don't take too much critical thinking.

Great story

Very riveting. The only thing I did not like was the narrator voice. Too old for the character.

On par for Stuart Woods and Stone Barrington

This wasn’t the best book I’ve listen to in the Stone Barrington series but I did make it through to the end. Parts of the story seemed a little far-fetched but it does keep you interested otherwise.
