I was introduced to William G Tapply's legal thrillers in the Brady Coyne series late in the 1980's before the days of ebooks and audiobooks. I purchased them, and other thrillers, in airport bookshops before leaving for transatlantic and transpacific flights. I continued this through the 1990's. I'm delighted that Audible Studios recorded 17 of the 28 books in the Brady Coyne series and released the audiobooks.
All of the books in the series are set in Boston and surrounding towns, especially Cambridge. These are really good novels. Client Privilege is about a law school friend of Coyne and current judge aspiring to a higher judicial appointment being implicated in the murder of a TV reporter. Coyne actually ends up a the prime suspect but due to client privilege cannot clear himself. There is an excellent twist at the end that I did not suspect.
Stephen Hoye does a great job of narration.
The books in the series were released in December 2013, but there have been few ratings. May I suggest to Audible that featuring these audiobooks at a lower price could earn them a better return on their investment. They really are great legal thrillers.
