She has the Remnant on her side, and they'll do anything it takes - including murder - to get what they want. But it's another member of the Remnant who's killed, and when Evan's brother becomes a suspect, Evan is dragged even deeper into the nightmare.

Truly a Cult Mystery Thriller

This was a slow-starter, but I ended up really enjoying it. I like to listen to a book while I walk, so I need something that keeps me going. I did my Saturday morning exercise and ended up finishing the book when I got home...had to find out what happened, and I was surprised by the finale. I didn't like the narrator at first, but once I got used to her voice, it was fine. I will try another Meg Gardiner.
