THE FINAL CUT
Scotland Yard's Chief Inspector Nicholas Drummond boards the first flight to New York when he learns that his colleague Inspector Elaine York, the minder of the crown jewels for the Jewel of the Lion exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, has been found murdered. Then the centerpiece of the exhibit, the infamous Koh-i-Noor diamond, is stolen from the Queen Mother's crown. Drummond, American-born but raised in the UK, is tough, dangerous, a fast-rising star in the Yard who never backs down. And this case is no exception. He's all for crown and country - but it's York's murder that draws him to the United States.
Special Agents Lacey Sherlock and Dillon Savich, listener favorites from Coulter's bestselling FBI series, join Drummond in his search for the cunning international thief known as the Fox. As the chase ricochets around the globe, the stakes intensify - and grow deadlier. The Fox will stop at nothing to deliver the Koh-i-Noor to the man who believes in its deadly prophecy. Nicholas Drummond, along with his partner, FBI Special Agent Mike Caine, lay it on the line to retrieve the Koh-i-Noor and live to tell about it.
THE LOST KEY
In his first hour on the job in the New York field office, freshly minted FBI agent Nicholas Drummond and his partner, Mike Caine, are called to investigate a stabbing on Wall Street.
They quickly learn that the victim, John Pearce, is more than the naval historian and antiquities dealer he appeared to be. He's known as The Messenger, but that's where the trail ends.
Drummond and Caine must navigate their way through a labyrinth of deadly secrets dating back to an incredible theft during World War I. They're up against a brilliant madman, Manfred Havelock, who will do anything to retrieve what's been lost for nearly a century. Only one person, Pearce's nineteen-year-old son, Adam, a gifted hacker, knows where to look. And he's gone missing.
John Pearce's cryptic dying words - "The key is in the lock" - set into motion an eleventh-hour race to solve the riddle of what key, and what lock, with Havelock one step ahead of Drummond and Caine, leaving mayhem and death in his wake. They must find Adam and stop Havelock before he changes the world forever.
THE END GAME
FBI agent Nicholas Drummond and his partner, Mike Caine, are deep into an investigation of COE - Celebrants of the Earth - a violent group known for widespread bombings of power grids and oil refineries across the country. While investigating a tip from a civilian who's overheard about a possible bombing plot, the Bayway Refinery in New Jersey explodes. Nicholas and Mike race to the scene and barely escape being killed by a secondary device.
Returning to the tipster's home to continue their interrogation, they discover the man - and the FBI team left to guard him - dead.

A ridiculous romance novel. Oh yeah, and a mystery
Would you try another book from Catherine Coulter and J. T. Ellison and/or Renee Raudman and MacLeod Andrews ?
No, for the love of God, no. The time spent listening to just the first book is time I'll never get back.
Has Catherine Coulter and J. T. Ellison - A Brit in the FBI Series turned you off from other books in this genre?
I bought the three book series and the other two will not be listened to. Once burned...,
What didn’t you like about Renee Raudman and MacLeod Andrews ’s performance?
The accents sounded like intentionally bad parodies.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
If it did, those redeeming qualities were buried so deep I never encountered them.
Any additional comments?
Oh how I wish I wouldn't have purchased the three book series package! This G-rated cop story with nary a swear word is juvenile, predictable and at times, utterly ridiculous. I was never so glad to have a book come to its awful end. Its genre show have been classified as Romance. Maybe YA romance. The high ratings from others certainly aren't coming from fans of mystery or crime novels.

A bit fluffy but entertaining
Female narrator was annoying in first part but improved. A bit redundant and improbable. Fairly well paced.

a step back for women's lib
Would you try another book from Catherine Coulter and J. T. Ellison and/or Renee Raudman and MacLeod Andrews ?
having female and male narrators was what kept me listening
What was most disappointing about Catherine Coulter and J. T. Ellison ’s story?
first book was ok although the villain was giving too much credit to the brit when it was Sherlock and her hubby that really tracked her down and figured what was going on.
What does Renee Raudman and MacLeod Andrews bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
having female and male narrators was what kept me listening
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Catherine Coulter and J. T. Ellison - A Brit in the FBI Series?
we I would have told them to make Mike tougher. In books 2 and 3 the brit was bossing her around and he was suppose to be the junior agent to her. He was always telling her to call this or that in. He refused her being bait. And she was like "ok whatever you say" then they have her being offended and totally unprofessional at the hospital, in book 3, when the brit stopped their sexual encounter. I would also slap the authors for having the VP say she was going to request that the FBI agents get the medal of honor. HELLO! that medal is for military service members. Law enforcement is not military! Oh and really a CIA undercover is involved with blowing up oil depots in the US and it is just brushed aside?!
Any additional comments?
I'll say it again having female and male narrators was what kept me listening

Great stories & series!
Catherine Coulter out does herself with the FBI series & the Brit in the FBI series. Books are outstanding alone & as series’ each story builds upon previous ones & ties both series together. Excitement, twists & turns leaving one on the edge of her/his seat and always surprises & surprise endings. I can’t wait to read/listen to the next one!
