Publisher's summary

Brooklyn has done everything she can to prepare for her nuptials with Derek and simply can't wait to start her new life with him. But things don't go as planned when Brooklyn's college frenemies, Heather and Sara, surprise her with a last-minute bridal shower. However, Brooklyn is touched when the women gift her rare copies of The Three Musketeers and The Red Fairy Book.

When one frenemy is found murdered and one of the rare books is deemed a forgery, Brooklyn can't help but wonder if the victim played a part in this fraud or if a murderer is still out there scamming and killing. Wedding jitters, counterfeit books, and a killer on the loose could ruin Brooklyn and Derek's big day. Can they make it down the aisle before more bodies start stacking up?

Cute

It wasn't bad. I enjoyed the characters, they were actually quite interesting and humorous. The narration was really very good.

Finally realized …

I don’t especially care for this series. Why would I like Derek (licensed killer) and believe somehow in the entire population he would fall for Brooklyn. Far too cutesy.

Brooklyn uses all she has learned

Each book is better than the last. I feel like Brooklyn uses everything she has learned at the culmination of this book. I did expect an exciting wedding but not the twists and turns on the way to the ceremony and once there. The women really kick butt.

Great series

I have really enjoyed the Bibliophile series by Kate Carlisle. Each mystery is more unique but has consistent characters so you feel like you are part of a family. Very intriguing at least to me they are.

I have read all the books in the series

I think I enjoyed reading the books I did not enjoy the audible version and I have not read book twelve so I don't know if it's better. The voice of dereck was worse than me trying to imitate the English accent unless the British are nothing like the ones I hear on tv shows I like the tv accent much better but perhaps the Brits have changed their accents skewed toward a different accent we heard in the past
