Blood Trail

Val and Bree decide to go jogging to get in shape, while they are at the park on the trails they witness a woman shoot and kill her husband. The woman see's them and gives chase after the 2 girls take off running. What happens next is a horror story for Val and Bree. I don't want to give the story away, so you will just have to listen to it to find out what happens. Angel Clark does a fine job of narrating. I was provided this audiobook for free in a promotion and I am voluntarily giving my unbiased review.

Someone has a good sense of the twisted here!

Ok, it’s a 39 minute listen so hard to say much without giving away stuff and spoiling the story. Let’s just say you’ve got your fit and healthy friend with her not so fit and healthy friend and they happen to stumble onto a truly horrible situation that grows progressively worse and ends in a truly twisted fashion. Loved it! I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator or publisher

Can't Fight Destiny

For a short story I felt this started out a little slow. I understand that it was setting up the two main characters, but I didn't think that it was entirely necessary. Even with that, I didn't really find myself connected to the characters and therefore would have liked to have a bit more action and suspense. I think the whole story was really created to tell the twist ending. The end was quite amazing. Definitely a twist that I didn't see coming. Not sure how plausible it is, but was great.

Angel Clark has always provided great narration. I especially like how she is able to capture conversations between different characters and provide each with a unique voice.

Destiny?

Though the story was predictable, Brie and Val were quite amusing.
They were my favorite part of the book, brought to life by Angel Clark who did a great job narrating!
