Still a good read, but uncomfortable.
I have read many books in the Scarpetta series. This one had a gripping crime to solve, but it was uncomfortable for me in part. Some of the characters were in new and difficult positions in their lives. It just didn't sit well with me. Still a good book, but not my personal favorite.

Great Story Superb Reader!
This reader is so much better than the bone off reader from the last book. She is perfect and tells the story with just the right nuance! As usual, the author knocks it out of the park with a riveting case!

Another good book
This book is okay. I love Patricia Cornwell books, especially Kay Scarpetta series. The story is good, sometimes however it can get a little slow. The narrator tries to change voice for different characters and for the most part does okay with that, but her pronunciation/enunciation of certain words were a little strange. Overall I enjoyed the story, and I will listen to her again.
