Great Beginning to a Great Series

This is a great book and Harry Blue is a great character. My wife and I listened to the second book "Never Never" in the series first. We liked it so much we looked to see if there was a collection around the Harry Blue character and found this book. Now we can hardly wait for the next book in the series to come out.
The same lady reads both books and she definitely adds to the entertainment value. I hope she continues with the series too.

Great character

Love the character of detective Blue. Not sure if it's because of the story, because or Faraday Holmes' narration, or a combination of the two.

I usually prefer hard copy reads as I love the whole tactile portion of reading, the hurried turning of the page at an exciting point in the story, the anxious shifting as you reach a pivotal moment in the book, and the physical finality of closing the book upon itself once the story is complete.

I was taken in...by this story...this narrator, and was able to truly enjoy my first audiobook fiction.

Two thumbs up from me!

Did not like

It uses the "F" to much for me. I couldn't get into the story foam the swearing.

My first Book Shot!

Loved the characters Blue and Tox—both were damaged but compelling. The narrator did an amazing job.

Another great work

My first James Patterson book shots. I love it and the story of it. I might as well listen to other book shots by this Author.

Can't wait for "Never Never"

Well written, characters worth investing in with a clear concise back story & a nice swerve at the end. All in all a winner!

Great!

I loved this prequel. I had previously read book 3, and although it could stand on its own, this book had great background. I am really enjoying this series!

Excited for series

This is a great book to start a series. I do not believe it's completely necessary to read this before never never, but I enjoy as much character development as I can get.

I am excited to read more about Harry. James and Candice are two of my favorite duos!!

loved the accented narrator

The setting is in Australia! Of course the narrator has an accent. Get over it! Great book. Can't wait to read the next.
