Great plot

Liked it but didn't love it...
I feel like violet is just desperate. She keeps saying she don't need anybody but her actions are different. I don't like how dectective cooper is treating her whether he's frustrated or not. I would have already went above his head and kicked his ass after he grabbed my arm. I honestly thought the story was gonna go in the direction of doc wasn't sure about him being a stepdad figure and breaking it off with violet. Then cooper comes in and confesses his dying love for violet. Since it doesn't seem it's going that way I think coop and violet need to work together and not separate and coop making threats to a woman, that's just not tough2to me. And can we please make violet believe in ghost now for Petes sake!!!!!!!!

Excellent!
This Violet Parker book series is excellent if you don’t mind a little bit of supernatural. It’s written very well, witty and funny at times. All the characters are believable and story lines are unpredictable. I am glad I stumbled upon this series while exploring what to listen to next. I am on my fifth book now and absolutely loved the previous four. The narrator is great as well.

The story gets better as it goes.
I almost quit reading the series after book three because of the way Violet was handling her relationship with Doc. But, she finally showed her courage. I love Doc and Violet and the rest of the characters. I love the humor, too, which makes me chuckle and laugh out loud. She’s a spitfire.

Still enjoyable but....
I really am enjoying this series. It’s becoming somewhat predictable as far as villains are concerned, however I always look forward to the next book.
