Worth it in the end, Just!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This was my first Jane Isaac's and I have to admit it was a little hard to get into. but the story got better as it went along and in the end I like it.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

No, I think this contributed to me taking so long to get into the story. The narrator, particularly Cathy Sabberton I found to be a bit tiresome

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes but I am afraid my emptions were a little on the negative side. I found the author's prose a little too stunted and missing depth. If anything I thought there was not enough there to allow the reader to create a picture in their head.
