Publisher's Summary

Four years have passed since J.D. Damascus lost his wife and two children to the notorious French Quarter killer. The vicious slaying did not go unpunished, but J.D. is certain the wrong man was convicted. Once the most powerful district attorney in New Orleans, J.D. is now a down-and-out lawyer, barely scraping by. When Holly Jones, a young woman who recently escaped the dangerous red-light district, alerts him that a new killing spree has begun, J.D. knows that the time has come to put an end to the madness. J.D. and Holly must join forces to rid the streets of the French Quarter killer, but each of them is haunted by secrets, some forgivable, some not, that could jeopardize their hunt.
