CJ

Narrator does a great job bring characters to life. I prefer this narrator than the one who narrates more recent Aunt Dimitar books.

Sweet Story

The Aunt Dimity series continues to entertain. The performance was very stilted and over-ennunciated. Awkward to listen to at first.

Fun, Good Clean fun, Will never have to hid these.

Would you consider the audio edition of Aunt Dimity Down Under to be better than the print version?

I always buy audiobooks.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love all the main characters. Every character is needed to tell the story and all their
own point of view.

Which character – as performed by Teri Clark Linden – was your favorite?

I like then all..

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A Film you don't have to worry about taking all ages to see. and HOW CAN A BLUE BOOK SOLVE A MYSTERY?

Any additional comments?

This is a wonderful book with no overly descriptive violence, sex, hate between people
and races, only good clean fun. This is a book you can even let the preacher see and read when you are done without any embarrassment. Your school age pre-teens and teens can even discuss this book with their grandmother and neither will be ashamed of any part or character.

Read as you speak

The narrator read so stiffly that it took away from the story. You should read ad you speak.

ok story bad narrator

The narrator is terrible. I wish this series had a different one. This series is cozy, not serious detective stories.

Fun story as usual. Narration awful, as usual.

I've long adjusted to the fact that Penguin Publishing is either cheap or deaf. They keep using the robot-sounding narrator to which I adjust to 1.5x in order to make it through the story with some enjoyment. I wish Nancy Atherton had some power over who narrates her books. It could be sooo much better.

This is a fun story with a sad premise. I love these books because the people may have their problems but they bring out the best in each other and generally have clean motives in their actions. I envy a community that cares for each other. It's nice to be a part of people's lives who live with the good and bad without shutting people out of their lives because of minor disagreements. Clean stories with no foul language--a rarity these days. In spite of the unfortunate narrator, enjoy the story!
