5 Stars for Tap on the Window

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. At first I wasn't sure I was going to like the book but boy did I change my mind. Very good, a little sad at times but definitely hold on to your seat for a wild ride kind of story.

What about Mark Zeisler’s performance did you like?

Mark Zeisler did a very good performance. I don't know if it was the greatest but it certainly was not bad.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I listened to it all in one day.

Any additional comments?

There are so many twists in this book, just when you think you know "who done it" the story goes off in another direction and takes of running somewhere else. The final two chapters took me totally by surprise. The conclusion actually left me feeling kind of melancholy and I normally like a book with an ending on the upside but in a way it does that too. Sounds confusing right? Listen to this one and see if you don't agree. It is worth the $ or credit you spend on it.

mystery thriller that totally hooked me

I thoroughly enjoyed this mystery thriller. The main character is a private detective dealing with grief over the recent death of his teenage son. The disappearance of a teenaged girl he gives a ride to draws him into mystery and intrigue in a small town in upstate New York. I found myself caring about the characters and mystery equally. This story is very well paced, and I could not stop listening. While I would characterize this as a light summer page-turner, I was totally drawn in. The plot moved at a good pace with a good amount of twists and turns. My only criticism is that the end had one plot turn too many, but I still recommend this novel. It was one of my favorites of the past year.
