Newly-pregnant Dr. Beth Nichols is happily engaged to Liam Darrah, a fellow doctor. Boring. long winded and the emotions hardly real

blahhhhh, so boring. what a waste. emotions were clearly off. nothing if what you would expect from someone going thru such a horrendous ordeal

Not a fan of the narrator nor the book

The book sounds very interesting but could have been written in a much better way. The release, and the consequences of being released after all that time, are unrealistic. Hardly any press nor police involvement and a long lost love who finds out through a newspaper.

Plus a simple prescription for antidepressants fixing all the post traumatic stress? No.

The narrator was bland and I really just could not take to her.

Try "the Room" for a much better novel on this type of horrific crime.
