Very Good Regional Missing Person Mystery

Would you listen to A Ghostly Tale in Taylors Falls: The Livery Box again? Why?

Yes, I definitely would. The story takes place in the Taylor's Falls area. It includes many accurate regional details which are fun for local people like myself to hear.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The mystery is well-written and builds a crescendo of suspense. It is not possible to predict the resolution of the mystery until the details are slowly unfolded. The characters are engaging and their plight is gripping.

What does J. Scott Bennett bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His voice perfectly captures the rural Midwest accent and manner of speech which is vital to this story. He gave an excellent performance.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I listened to it while doing some spring cleaning. At approximately 3 hrs. in length, it was perfect for my purposes.

Any additional comments?

This is a clean, family friendly novel. It is an engrossing tale with a satisfying ending.
