The main action takes place in Disney World and at this point you know that the Kildar can take care of bad guys and likes his women (or teenagers sometimes) so this time he gets to do much of both.
Terrorists get some VX gas into the Disney World park and its up to Mike and his teams to stop it as usual.
I like how this story has gone so far, Mike or the "Kildar" as hes known now has become a cool character, although he does like to do some pretty questionable stuff he also saves people at his own risk even when its not part of the mission hes on so hes not that bad of a guy.
There are a few times when he tells someone hes not a good guy he just does good things from time to time and this might not be what most people think is good but at least hes doing good things.

Paladin of Shadows is turning out to be fantastic series and a must read for any John Ringo fans.
After listening to Ghost and Kildar; I have just purchased the rest of the series. The books follow on like in the Legacy of the Aldenata series.
Great fun, fast paced action with an epic story line but thought provoking as well, with interesting details about different styles of military force organisation, Special Forces tactics and strategy, geopolitics and terrorism, espionage, cutting edge military technologies, even ancient warrior history and beer brewing…!
While not hard Science fiction when compared to his later books, this series introduces many of the themes and big ideas that he develops in latter books like the Troy Rising series and in the Last Centurion, also passing references to the ideas of the great Robert A Heinlein.
Military and Adventure SF fans will certainly enjoy this as will all fans of more traditional military authors like Chris Ryan and Andy McNab, Tom Clancy and Patrick Robinson also those who enjoy Adventure and Thriller writers like Wilbur Smith, Larry Bond, Stephen Coonts, Dale Brown, Matthew Reilly.
What an enjoyable read it has all attributes I so look forward to from a John Ringo story. The characters are so real from Ghost (ak Miike Jenkins ak. Mike Harmon) to all the girls and even the bad guys. It as thou John has taking them all from our world and place them in this story. A great audio and story I'll continue to listen to for many more years.
