GET READY FOR THE MOST EXCITING COUNT-DOWN OF YOUR LIFE

HOUR SIXTY-ONE
Icy winter in South Dakota. A bus skids and crashes in a gathering storm. On the back seat: Jack Reacher, hitching a ride to nowhere. A life without baggage has many advantages. And disadvantages too, like facing the arctic cold without a coat.

HOUR THIRTY-ONE
A small town is threatened by sinister forces. One brave woman is standing up for justice. If she's going to live to testify, she'll need help from a man like Reacher.Because there's a killercoming for her.

HOUR ZERO
Has Reacher finally met his match? He doesn't want to put the world to rights. He just doesn't like people who put it to wrongs.

Although the Jack Reacher novels can be listened to in any order, the ending of 61 Hours is directly followed by Worth Dying For.

Anothre great Reacher book

A great book, very well narrated and interesting. Reacher wastes no time in getting to the point. Lee Childs has become a favorite of mine, uncomplicated plots, entertaining characters and very well narrated, never a waste of money

This story is best left for summer, its very cold!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. Lee Child is a winner!

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The cold war relics, the crook and the phone romance were most interesting.I knew who the traitor was very early in the book, so it appears did Reacher. But if so, why did he not call him out earlier? Why let the witness die?The traitor should have been killed with a bit more grovelling and ceremony :)The ending is somewhat ambiguous. You have to read A wanted man, and then Never go back, to fully understand if Reacher is still alive or dead.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Jeff Harding?

Always

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Jack Reacher

Any additional comments?

Keep em coming :)

I didn't want to get out of the car

I've only just discovered Reacher. Boy, what a hero. I would normally stay well away from such books but I'm hooked. He kicks arse, literally and figuratively. The count down was a train wreck, 61, 51 and on and on to what????? No fingernails left and where's the next book?

Entertaining guff

Would you try another book from Lee Child and/or Jeff Harding?

I am told that Lee Childs other books are much better - will give them a shot.

What could Lee Child have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

This story is implausible on so many levels that suspension of disbelief is more effort than it is worth. It started off well enough, but the identity of the bent cop was painfully obvious from the start and none of the characters were meaningfully developed.

Which character – as performed by Jeff Harding – was your favorite?

The book is very well read and the narrator did not
