Wonderfu! 💖audio book

Anna Hackett writes some of the best action ,adventure novels with just the right amount of oh so hot 🔥passionate Love story. The characters were brought to life beautifully by JK and SC . I loved hearing both voices and perspectives. 💖 I would definitely recommend and will be listening to more.

Hell Squad #1. Excellent start to the series!!!

Anna Hackett writes excellent fast paced action, creative SciFi, fun loving characters, and steamy romance.

Great narration on a very good book!

I’ve read the HellSquad series 4? 5? Times now and decided to listen this time thru. I liked both narrators - good pacing, sounded s lot like the characters in my head, and really brought the story to life. Give it a try!

Good easy read

Nice world building, interesting characters and believable romance.
I liked the book for what it was, there were lots of cliches and the story was fairly formulaic, but it was well written and enjoyable. The author captures the characters personalities well and stays really consistent which is nice for this type of book. Sometimes sci-fi has a tendency to add superhero character traits just to ‘solve’ sticky situations, because they don’t have to worry about reality, instead Anna Hackett uses good writing.

Excellent start to the series

This is wonderful book full of action and romance. The characters are survivors after an alien lizard race, the Gizzida, invaded the earth. Marcus was part of the Earth's last defense, a group called Hell Squad. Elle, party girl in her prior life, was now working with Marcus as part of his team and even as they fall in love, they have to deal with the horror associated with alien occupation. This is an exciting story and the book is free on amazon. I've read this book a few times and now that it is on AE, I got to listen to it too. Both narrators were great- good pacing and good playing of multiple characters. I enjoyed this book and look forward to listening to the others (I've read all the books in the series and I have to say, this is a fantastic, heart pounding series!!)

Brilliant narration for Anna Hackett's 1st Audible

Congratulations Anna Hackett for such a brilliant first Audiobook for your action-packed series Hell Squad.

Marcus has always been my favourite in your alien-invasion series and to hear both Elle and Marcus--spoiling your fans with two narrators for your alternating POV style of storytelling--is an amazing treat. All that heart-pumping, adrenalin-filled tension on paper (or ebook) just got enhanced with Audible.

Quick Low Angst Listen

The narrators did a good job. This was a quick entertaining low angst listen. The world building was easy to follow and the characters main and secondary were enjoyable. I enjoyed the storyline and look forward to listening to more in the series.

favorite part when Elle found Claire and leo and told them they could come back to the base the first thing Claire asked about were books....finally someone has their priorities right

BOOK REVIEW.......
Ok first I have to admit that I wasn't really sure I would like this series. While I love love love sci-fi movies and shows I generally have trouble with getting into sci-fi books.

That being said. I love this series! The characters are so full of life and strength. The dialogue is witty and smart. I loved how flawed and messed up everyone is, yet still strong and touch enough to fight back yet. It makes for great obstacles for the characters to have to over come along with the aliens they have to fight.

Now I would be lying if I didn't say that the aliens are a little bit hokey. They are a mixture of different dinosaur/reptilian and human shaped. I wish there was a drawing of them in the books. It would help with picturing them. However they are rather cool sounding and impressively evil wicked buggers.

The characters of Marcus and Elle were well rounded and nicely written.

I would recommend this book and series to anyone looking for a good alien story to read.
