Good lecture, reaaallly bad recording

The lecture is cool but the audio quality is so low that you need to like the content a lot just to get through it

The definitive education on the so-called Middle East

It took me a year to get through the book. Audible really should get Robert Fisk's epic narrated, else many will miss out. That would be a real tragedy. How else will we find out? I tell anyone who'll listen this book is the touchstone by which to view the Middle East.
There are chapters which could carry a warning, "readers may find content disturbing and distressing."

Poor quality recording

Essentially a Q&A with fisk. Interesting with some humorous anecdotes. But not really worth a credit for the length.

Fisk at his best

Fisk displays his encyclopedic knowledge of the middle east, giving broad historical context enthusiastically and humorously
