Good Fun

As one who has tried and failed to learn several languages, I never thought I'd be able to have fun attempting a language as daunting as German. But Rush Hour German totally made it possible! The lesson is set up as a story with songs, which makes it much more interesting and engaging than listening to a drone saying monotone words over and over again. I am constantly walking around with the tunes stuck in my head! It makes it so easy and fun to memorize the useful words and phrases they teach you. I only wish there were a whole series of these lessons!!

Gushing German

I have listened to several CDs for German language learning. This one is very engaging, but sometimes a little fast. Several terms are not spoken clearly, but overall a good beginner's CD.

It is not clear what level should be using it. The character in the course has studied German before. The topics are very basic, but the very first words introduced are quite longish (e.g. kennenzulernen). And finally, the music sounds like a cheesy broadway show...
