Short and melodic
It was way shorter than what I was hoping for. my husband picked it out and I was shocked to find it was only 1 hour long. Guess I will find my own long book next time. the melody was weird but then ok.

Rapid French: Volume 1
It takes many different types of learning tools to learn French and this is one of them. It contains practical usage, phrases and words in a pleasant format. The French and English are clear and easy to understand and both speakers are great. You can listen to it anywhere. This is a good product, especially for the price.

Enjoyable language re-learning
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes! I was looking to brush up my tourist French and this was wonderful to listen to. Relaxing but helped refresh my accent and vocabulary.
Any additional comments?
I'm not sure whether it would as work as well for someone with no French background. For me, looking to renew my high school French, it was great.

Useful for me
I find these "ear worm" recordings useful. Although I continue to listen to the recordings over and over, as a beginner, I appreciate hearing the language spoken in these relaxed common scenarios. I am attempting to learn many languages at once, which I find difficult, but can listen to these as I drive or clean house and it keeps the language fresh in my mind.

Practical and Quick French Learning
This is a great choice if you're trying to pick up "survival french" for a quick trip to a french speaking country. It is all together practical (starting with, how to say I'd like a coffee) and I have found it very useful. (After trying a few other french audio books!) The beats make it easy to listen to and also get the phrases 'stuck in your head' which is a very good think when trying to learn a language! Highly recommend it.
