The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension, and on learning to speak Polish. Reading Lessons are included at the end of Unit 30 to provide you with an introduction to reading Polish. These lessons, which total about one hour, are designed to teach you to sound out words with correct pronunciation and accent. What the Critics Say

"Pimsleur programs provide plenty of positive reinforcement that will keep learners on track, and we found that Pimsleur gave us more proficiency and confidence in speaking the new language than any of the other language programs we reviewed." (AudioFile magazine)

Where does Polish Phase 1, Unit 26-30 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Such a fast and easy way to learn a language. Can't say enough good things. I'm so sad that there are only 30 lessons! Wah!

Publisher hasn't thought out fully

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes - with reservations

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

there is no story - this is a language instruction program

Have you listened to any of the narrator’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

a standard has to be in place for this language program.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Any additional comments?

the Publisher needs to do a little more homework to make this program accessible to users.
It's a little careless to publish without testing the result first I think.
