Fun, but repetitive and of limited use

The format of each lesson is repetitive, as if this were originally a podcast. This gets irritating after a few lessons if you're listening to them continuously.

The speaker is a light-hearted soul who teaches you a few survival phrases while adding some cultural details. For example: how very important manners are (and always have been) to the Swedish people, visiting customs, typical foods you will encounter, how to ask for help in an emergency, etc. Sure, you can find all of this elsewhere, but without the pronunciation of the Swedish. For that alone, it may be worth a listen. But if you're looking for a serious resource, this isn't it.
