If you could sum up Italian Short Stories for Beginners, Volume 2 [Italian Edition] in three words, what would they be?
Boosts listening confidence
What other book might you compare Italian Short Stories for Beginners, Volume 2 [Italian Edition] to, and why?
This is unlike other listening resources: interesting and varied themes with some surprise endings, clear diction, measured pace and vocabulary/grammar level consistently around the lower-intermediate area.
Any additional comments?
I liked the summaries after each chapter. A shame there was not a script, but it made me listen over again, which was beneficial. You need to be able to recognise several tenses (future, imperfect, perfect, past historic), occasional subjunctives, impersonal "si". Useful "bookmark" facility to enable revisiting sections of interest.
