Start at track 12

Language 30 was always about stuffing a school course or two inside the smallest amount of space. The speakers are important, and this Irish one is rough enough to be realistic, but clean enough to get something out of. At least for me, I want to get vocabulary before phrases, it is quicker to learn and gives me a library of sounds to work with. In order to do that, track 12 is the start. Also, the instructions are speak after the second pronunciation, not the first. And, run through the tracks 20 times.

meh

Throw a lot of phrases at you quick. You're basically on your own. I listen to Audible because I'm busy with my hands at work. I never would have bought the book if I'd known I would have to pause it every two seconds.

Excellent for listening

This is a good tool if one has the time to listen over and over again. There are not long enough pauses between the words for practice though. I still recommend it!

Great to practice, needs updating and details

I did enjoy using this on a long car ride, but have a couple issues:

There are multiple dialects in Ireland and it's not clear which dialect, or dialects (?), are being used here.

The fact that there is no mention of the EU, nor Euros, nor internet (!) makes me think this is a really old program. Needs updating to be more relevant.
