Not what I had hoped for.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

If you're heading to Germany for a vacation in a few weeks and need to pick up some helpful phrases this book might be for you. But as far as using it as a tool to actually learn the language...well, I'd go with Pimsleur or some other more structured approach.

Would you be willing to try another book from Edward Swick? Why or why not? this book was billed as an easy tool to assist learing the language I feel my money would be better spent on other books.

What three words best describe the narrator’s performance?

The narration was very nicely done.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from German for Dummies?

I would have restructured the entire approach.
