Publisher's Summary

This episode of French For Beginners is presented by the talented Alexa Polidoro. After many years of developing and harnessing her language-teaching skills with The French Ecole, Alexa has now created an audio treat for people who wish to learn a new language from scratch, without any pressure, in fun, relaxed and manageable chunks.
Highlights of Lesson 21 include a poem by Jacques Prévert (1900-1977) entitled "Paroles" (which Alexa uses to conclude her section on "past participles"); correction of some of the listeners' e-mailed homework from previous weeks; and the introduction of a new topic: "reflexive verbs".

Wonderful Series

This is an excellent series. I have been trying to brush up on my french for years. After trying many other programs, I am finally making progress. The program is well organized, fun and informative. It goes beyond vocabulary lists and encourages conversation. It's great to find a program that teaches more than how to find the train station.
