On Christmas Eve, while his wife and children sleep, a man awakens to noises outside his house. Looking out the window, he spies landing on his roof St. Nicholas in a sleigh pulled by eight reindeer. Classic ruined by Narrater . . .

I don't doubt the narrator would be great reading some stories but not this one . . . This is the worst redition of this classic I have ever heard . . .

He ruins this classic Christmas . . . I would suggest that you listen before you play it for others . . . especially young ones . . .

This story should be read in a happy lighthearted manner not they way it is . . .

The rating is solely for the narration . . .

OK...

The way this was read it almost sounded sinister in the beginning, but maybe it was just me. Suggest you have a sample listen first, before you play it for very young ones.

Great poem poor narration

Narration is very robotic, brings no life to this classic poem. Do not recommend this purchase.
