I enjoyed the first book in this series Theodore Boone: The Kid Lawyer so decided to listen to this one also. Glad I did. Richard Thomas does a good job narrating the story. This story is advertised for children but adults will enjoy it also. It is a short story that leaves one feeling good. It is nice to see a 13 year old with such a focus on what he wants to do with his life. Enjoyed the scenes in animal court in both books. This one particularly was funny. You will enjoy this book for a 4 hour trip with the family.

I just see now that other reviewers have noted this is a kids story. Huh! Maybe that's the reason I didn't care for it -- I don't recall seeing, anywhere on Audible, that this was intended for kids. If I'd known that, I wouldn't have bought it, that's for sure. Anyway, the official blurb calls the book "pause-resistant" which is a major joke. It's a total sleeper -- not a bad little story, I guess. Just that in the scheme of things, it doesn't matter. There's nothing to keep you listening other than inertia -- and the fact that you paid for it. It's not bad. It's just ....... nothing. If there is an upside, it was listening to Richard Thomas read, and reminding myself, over and over, how much I enjoyed the Walton's, back then. Welcome back, John-Boy. That part was fun. (Overall?
