Publisher's summary

Soon to be a major motion picture from Netflix!

With every end comes a new beginning in the fourth installment of Soman Chainani’s New York Times best-selling School for Good and Evil series, Quests for Glory. If Good and Evil can't find a way to work together, neither side will survive....

Join Sophie, Agatha, Tedros, and the other students as they begin a new era in the Endless Woods - the Camelot Years - where Evers and Nevers alike must move beyond the bounds of school and into the biggest, boldest adventures of their lives.

The students at the School for Good and Evil thought they had found their final Ever After when they vanquished the malevolent School Master. Now, on their required fourth-year quests, the students face obstacles both dangerous and unpredictable, and the stakes are high: Success brings eternal adoration, and failure means obscurity forever.

For their quests, Agatha and Tedros are trying to return Camelot to its former splendor as queen and king. For her quest, Dean Sophie seeks to mold Evil in her own image. But soon they all feel themselves growing more isolated and alone. When their classmates' quests plunge into chaos, however, someone must lead the charge to save them.

Don't miss the thrilling conclusion to the beloved series, The School for Good and Evil #6: One True King, available June 2020!

Changes for the worse

The entertaining story of the first three books spirals down into a kind of frantic race to save the world - probably more suited to a contemporary motion picture. It felt like an old fairy tale (one of those rewritten for modern readers) into which a hundred "just thens" have been inserted to give the sense of urgency. Imagine comparing the dialog of a BBC Miss Marple and today's NCIS. I have trouble imagining a group of mid-teens keeping up such clever and calculating fast-paced repartee while escaping death by the machinations of multiple unknown conspirators.

Loved it

This book is awesome. I completely loved it. But come on I love all the books in this series. I never in a million years would of thought Rhien (is that how you spell his name?) would be the bad guy, but this book is full of surprises. Can’t wait to read the next ones!

Trumpian World

I listened to this book with my daughter and we both got sucked in to the story. It echoed today's political world where lies become truth and truth becomes lies. History is rewritten and people are confused and admiring evil instead of good. The narrator's interpretation of Hester and Anadil was a little disappointing. It makes them sound very odd, whereas when you read it yourself they are very likable characters.

I love this series! I can barely put it down. The ending was fantastic and I almost want to start the next one right this minute. What a cliff hanger!

It is so interesting and is never boring I love the way the author added twists in old classic fairytales 😋

Absolute garbage.

Literally a repeat of the first plot line except the two main idiots who never learn are friendsly now even though they turn back and forth from friend to enemy like 5x each book so it doesn’t matter. All of these books suck in the worst ways possible. Also this author needs to learn what a quest is because there was no questing involved in these books

Still Problematic, But Better Than The Previous Books

I liked this book more than I’ve liked the others in the series. It’s still problematic and the plot is far too easy to guess, but the ideas are still fun. I’m four books in now and I’m still of that mind that this is a good idea, but not a great execution.
