Great story, great readings, not so great format

The story's fine, and the narration is superb, but I wish that they hadn't divided each narration up into multiple chapters - The Rabbit Who... is in two chapters, so you can set the sleep timer to turn off at the end of the "chapter," which is much better in my opinion. The only other thing is that at the very end, after it puts your children to sleep, in a nice loud voice it announces that it hopes that you have enjoyed it - I get that probably every audible book does that, but again - in a book designed to put your kids to sleep, it almost jolts you awake. if the forward and that ending could be in their own "chapters" with each of the full narration as their own chapters, it would be excellent! (It still is, but I wish that they had thought of these things before they released it)

Creepy but works?

Dear god this is absolutely terrifying. I listened to it with my kids and felt like I was on the receiving end of an obscene prank phone call. It put them to sleep but scared the shit out of me.

INCREDIBLE!!

(Used Audible version)
This worked so fast to get my 18 month old son to sleep. We have been having a hard time getting him to bed without crying, fussing, and struggle. This story is the most amazing thing I've used to help my guy fall asleep. If you're bed time experience is as rough as mine has been, I HIGHLY recommend this audio book.

Creepy whispering voice scary to kids.

Have never finished it with the kids as the whispering voice is creepy and seems scary for them although they love his other sleep books.

It really works!

I bought it for my 11 year old insomniac, but it works fine for me too. I've listened to it twice and fallen asleep before the end both times. I couldn't sleep last night (stress) so I turned on the Audible. I fell asleep quickly and stayed asleep for the rest of the night. When I picked up my phone this morning, the page asking for a review was waiting for me!

Must have for kids!

My kids love this book and the The Rabbit who wants to fall asleep. This book has 2 narrator versions included, a male or a female. The more you allow your kids to listen to the book while they are snuggled in bed, the quicker they will fall asleep listening to it. All 3 of my kiddos love this book. My son prefers the rabbit book while my oldest daughter prefers the male narration of the elephant book.

Works Like Magic

My four year old daughter does not like to go to sleep and we would have hours of begging, crying, and screaming (on OUR part!) every night to try to get her to settle down and doze off. I saw an ad for this book in Parents Magazine and downloaded the audio book and bedtime has been transformed. She is now asleep EVERY night within fifteen minutes, with only gentle reminders to listen to the book. The performance is gentle and soothing and the meandering story guides her to relaxation. The best part is that she is eager to go to sleep with "Ellen the Elephant" now. LOVE this audio book!!

Zzzzzzzz

This story relaxes my three little ones. In about ten minutes they are asleep and waking up refreshed and energetic. I sat in the room with them to listen and found my eyes getting heavy. I had to rush out of the room before I fell asleep.

This is a very strong hypnotic script

I was expecting a very light induction like his first book but this one put me full under hypnosis. I have tried many hypnotic recordings and only one other has better effects than this one and that one was 30 dollars from an NLP master.

My only complaint is that sometimes the volume changes in the story would bring me back up to full awareness and a warning for parents this book may be too complicated for very little kids it raised many questions in my cousin when I tried it with him. I think an added kids introduction that explains that the story is like a silly dream that takes place in a world where things work differently than in our world and that for the magic of the story to work the kid needs to want it to and just relax and listen would help
