Cute ghost story

What made the experience of listening to The Ghost Isle the most enjoyable?

It was just enjoyable to listen to because it was a break from my normal more intense books.

What other book might you compare The Ghost Isle to and why?

I don't really have any other books to compare it to aside from the Treehouse mysteries (i think thats what they are called if I remember right)

Have you listened to any of J. Scott Bennett’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I'm not sure if I have listened to any other of his readings mostly because I usually don't pay attention to names because I am horrible at remembering them.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I enjoyed the book overall and the ending was something that made me happy, but there wasn't any one moment that just stood out more than any other.

Any additional comments?

I loved listening to this story. It took me back to being a little kid and daydreams of pirates and fears of ghosts. J. Scott Bennett did a wonderful job with all his voices and made it seem as if pirates were in the room with me. Holt Clarke made a wonderful world and I can't wait to share this story with my daughter.

A Wonderful Ghost Story for the whole family

I really enjoyed listening to this ghost story on audiobook. It is a fairly quick one at 2 hours: but perfect for the whole family on a car trip or stormy afternoon. Loved all the characters, ghosts, and history of the area made this story quite interesting and fun to listen to.
Absolutely love the narrator, J. Scott Bennett and I look for books he narrates before I will select any by another narrator. He just has the perfect voice for audio and has no difficulties with accents or male/female voices.
