If you could sum up Sophie's Snail in three words, what would they be?
sweet, caring, relatable
What did you like best about this story?
Each of the six chapters is a different story (loosely related to the others) about a 4 year old girl who loves animals (even woodlice). My kids (ages 5, 5, and 3) could relate to her character. What I like best about the book is that it is wholesome fun.
Would you listen to Sophie's Snail again? Why?
Sophie has been introduced and there is a whole series from age 5 to age 7. She is smart as a whip and incredibly silly! She has mixed up words and she gets involved in all things 'animal'.<br/><br/>I live Sophie! She is most of us as little girls. She is so determined to be a Lady Farmer that one can't imagine any other result for Sophie's grown up years. She is brilliant!<br/><br/>Plan to giggle and giggle!<br/><br/>Audible? Could you put these books in a series for us readers? It sure would help!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Sophie's Snail?
'And I'll have a small patch of corn.'<br/>'Corn?! What for?'<br/>'For cornflakes! What's wrong with you? Don't they teach you anything?'
still in love with these books. wounderful concept of dreams coming true. in a real setting
I,ve always loved this story now my daughter does too x the determination and kind natured Sophie is inspirational to the next generation of lady farmers.
