Publisher's summary

An artifact gone missing. A jungle full of clues. Can one cat detective save a national treasure?

Inca the Siberian kitty can’t wait to add Sri Lanka to the list of places she’s explored. But before her paws touch the sandy beaches, she learns a local museum needs her crime-solving skills to track down a stolen ancient sword. With her trusty diary in tow, Inca leaps whisker-first down a trail of clues that leads her deep into the wild jungle.

After getting a little help from a baby elephant and her not-so-distant leopard cousins, she learns about the country’s rich history and just how important it is to restore the sword to its rightful place. With her furry family and new friends by her side, Inca can feel she’s close to getting her claws on the sword...but it’ll take teamwork to save a priceless piece of history.

Serendipity Mystery is the seventh stand-alone children’s book in the Diary of a Snoopy Cat series, which is purrfect for kids ages 7-12. If you and your child like new cultural experiences, animal detectives, and tales of teamwork, then you’ll love R.F. Kristi’s globetrotting adventures.

Inca the Snoopy Cat

Inca, the Snoopy Cat, and her family travel to Sri Lanka for vacation. These furry companions meet elephants, big cat cousins, a turtle named Ronnie and a very scary python out to make a midnight snack of Inca! I loved the descriptions of the exotic locale of Sri Lanka and the delight that was shown by the kittens throughout the book.

This is wonderfully fun story for kids (and adults, too!), full of adventure, mystery, detective work and loads of fun creatures. I am definitely not a kid (unless I'm in my second childhood at 61), but I love listening to this one. I would definitely recommend this book (and the series) to anyone looking for a entertaining audiobook for youngsters and their families.

The narrator does a great job and that voice? I couldn't decide if it was a young girl or just a woman able to make herself sound that way. Either way, her performance really added a lot to my enjoyment. My only complaint is that the pauses between chapters was very brief, making it hard for the listener to stop the book at an appropriate place.

I was given the opportunity to listen to this book by the narrator/publisher/author and chose to review it.

Cute for the kids

Kids will like this one. It was very descriptive so they should have no trouble imagining what's happening. The only issue I had with the narration was really a production problem (I believe). There is not a long enough pause at the end of a chapter before the next one starts. That may make it difficult for parents to select a stopping point. Good, clean fun that teaches teamwork and other life lessons.

Outstanding Audio Listening Adventure

This is the first Audio Book I have listened to in a long time. The narrator had a very pleasant voice, easy to understand. Makes you feel like you're there with Inca and Company, solving the Mystery right beside her. The friends she made along the way were interesting to hear about.

Overall, the Performance, and Story were all Fantastic. I'd recommend this audio book to anyone, especially for the kids to sit around and listen to together.

I'm very much into Cats. So this Audio Book perked my interest, and I'll be checking on the books also.

A fun and fur-ious adventure with our feline detec

A fun and fur-ious adventure with our feline detectives as they solve the mystery of a stolen sword in Sri Lanka. Inca and her friends have run-ins with various local wildlife, not all of which are positive. Will our heroes be successful, or will they end up as an after-dinner mint to some mighty beast? Get the story and fine out! As always, Inca and friends give a lot of enjoyment.

Cute story

A cute story that is a fun, quick listen. The narrator manages to give each voice a distinct sound and personality. Some of them were a little high for liking, but not too bad.

What a performance!!

Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat: Inca Book Series, Book 7 by R.F. Kristi, narrated by Stephanie Quinn is a delightfully engaging audiobook for children in grades 3-6 and depending on the individual, would also be an enjoyable listen for those in grades 7-8. I am a high school teacher, and even though some of my students would find this too juvenile, as an adult listener, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. :-) After hearing the sample, you will know if it is right for you. This is the first book I have read/listened to from both the author and narrator; even though it is part of a series, I would still consider it a stand-alone, if you wanted to start with this one. I'll allow you to read the plot description on your own, as it gives a detailed explanation of the exact storyline. The running time of this audiobook is around 1.5 hours, making it perfect for an afternoon listen or a car ride up north. I recommend it to those who love children's books, cozy mysteries, animals, and culture! This is also a great option for those looking for an audiobook that the whole family will enjoy! Filled with figurative language and opportunities for discussion, Serendipity Mystery is very well thought out! I was thoroughly impressed with the writing, and I could definitely see many teachers using this book in the classroom to supplement their lessons on similes, vocabulary, and characterization, to name a few. **Of course, like everything that is used for educational purposes, make sure to you are following the Fair Use Policy guidelines or have been granted permission for use before choosing to implement.**

The performance by Stephanie Quinn blew me away! I wasn't sure if this was a child narrating or an adult who was just that good!! After checking out samples of her other work, I realized that she is just that good! Wow! Her amazing voice!!! She did a phenomenal job playing these adorable, loving characters! Her performance made me want to hear more in the series, and while I'm sure the book is wonderful without audio, my overall experience was heightened by choosing the audiobook. Everything from her pronunciation, clarity, and speed to her inflection, volume, and enthusiasm kept me engaged in the story from start to finish. I am so impressed by her amazing performance! Bravo!

The audiobook Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat: Inca Book Series, Book 7 by R.F. Kristi, narrated by Stephanie Quinn deserves 5/5 stars across the board. From the wonderful learning opportunities and fun storyline to the engaging narration, this is an audiobook your entire family will love! I highly recommend it all!

Thank you for reading my review. I hope it was helpful. :-)
