What did you love best about Ramona the Pest?
Story a great classic. I felt such sympathy for Ramona throughout; she reminds me so much of my own daughter with ADHD and many small children today. It definitely makes you see things through a child's perspective. Stockard Channing did a terrific job on narrating. All the voices she did were pitch perfect, from the Southern belle teacher to Ramona herself, Ramon's mother, etc. It is a wonder she never got confused, but each voice was slightly different and all were good.
What did you like best about this story?
Story plus narration were both just excellent. My 6 year old loved it. Not one particular thing I loved best.
Which scene was your favorite?
Can't remember a particular favorite. Most of the stories were very good.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
No. I don't recall being "moved". Some sections are funnier than others, but I don't remember crying or feeling emotional.
Any additional comments?
Also loved the Henry Huggins books from Beverly Clearly as narrated by Neil Patrick Harris. Strongly recommend.
