Editorial Reviews

Now continues Morris Gleitzman children's series about two friends in Nazi-occupied Poland. It follows the author's audiobooks Once and Again. Now a grandfather, Felix, faces an awful event together with his granddaughter, Zelda. Australian actress Mary-Anne Fahey believably plays young Zelda, the point-of-view character. She embodies Zelda's innocence and sincerity with a sweet voice that will mesmerize young listeners. Fans of the stories about young Felix will enjoy coming full circle with this final edition of the series.

Loved it, just like all of the Once series

My son and I have read or listened to all of the Once series together and Now was another great little book. Gleitzman manages to be funny while dealing with some very big themes, without ever patronising his audience or belittling the subject matter. Now steps outside of the timeline of Once and Then but continues and develops the themes. Would thoroughly recommend for children 11+.
