Publisher's Summary

Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle loves everyone, and everyone loves her right back. The Children love her because she is lots of fun. Their parents love her because she can cure children of absolutely any bad habit. The treatments are unusual, but they work!Who better than a pig, for instance, to teach a piggy little boy table manners? And what better way to cure the rainy-day "waddle-I-do's" than hunt for pirate treasure in Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle's upside-down house?

What the Critics Say

"Each of these stories has obviously been told over and over to delighted children, who must throng around their author as the youngsters in the book do around Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle herself." (The Chicago Tribune)

lovely, not my favorite Mrs Piggle Wiggle

The narrator was very good. My girls enjoy this recording. I do not care for a few of the episodes (in particular the Doesn't Want To Go To School Cure- I had a hard time listening to the children ridiculing the little boy who didn't want to go to school, calling him "an ol' dummy" and "stupid". just not palatable to me no matter what the end "solution" would be.) overall I have a great love for Mrs Piggle Wiggle but this is not my favorite of her books.

sweet but not as good as the original

The narrator was excellent. She does voices beautifully. My 7 year old very much enjoyed this book. I thought the first one was a bit more clever. Ms. Pigglewiggle cures children of bad habits such as telling on each and bad manners. There were a few more gender stereotypes in this book than the original but nothing major. Just a few references to how nice it is when women cook. Over all it was cute and entertaining. I definitely recommend it!
