Publisher's summary

Family Rules: Family business is family business - don’t talk about it to ANYONE.

No sneaking out. No going into Boston alone. Moxie Fleece knows the rules and follows them - that is, until the day she opens her front door to a mysterious stranger. Suddenly, Moxie drops smack into Boston’s biggest unsolved mystery: the Gardner Museum art heist. Moxie has two weeks to find the art, otherwise she - and the people she loves - will be in big-time danger.

Her tools? Her best friend, Ollie, a geocaching addict who loves to find stuff; her Alzheimer’s suffering grandfather, Grumps, who knows lots more than he lets on; and a geometry proof that she sets up to sort out the clues.

It’s a race against the clock through downtown Boston as Moxie and Ollie break every rule she’s ever lived by to find the art and save her family.

So fun!

It's hard to find a book that's engaging for both my 13 y.o. daughter and 10 y.o. son but this book is perfect! It's fast paced, clever, and a lot of fun. I enjoyed listening to it as well. We haven't found another book that interests all of us since reading Moxie...

Awful faked Boston accent

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend the book but not the audiobook.

What didn’t you like about Amy McFadden’s performance?

She did not do a good job pretending to read in a Boston accent. What a mistake to try to fake it. I almost could not stand to continue but I liked the story enough to try to ignore the ridiculous accent.

Was Moxie and the Art of Rule Breaking worth the listening time?

Yes, I listened on 1.25 time.

Any additional comments?
