Amazing!

My daughter enjoyed this book so much! I would surly recommend it! This book also gives the reader a lot of history on America. It's amazing how interesting they can make it!

Listening to it again and again

Our daughter has been entranced by Kaya and the exceptionally well read stories about her and her people since she started listening to it. We have now heard through it no less than five times. We are happy to have a balance to the white settler stories like Little House on the Prarie (also a great book, but concerning in its critique of native people) for our daughters. I have been nearly equally as intrigued... I think the much begged for trip to Idaho to visit the Nez Perce people may actually happen....
