I wish I had bought the McDonough narration

What did you like best about Hans Brinker, or The Silver Skates? What did you like least?

The story was good in some parts; other parts were a snooze-fest. The author went into _long_ descriptions of the setting and of aspects of Dutch history. A little bit would have been great, but Dodge went overboard, in my opinion. There were too many detours from the storyline.

I wish I had chosen the McDonough narration. Marshall's voice seems well-suited for lullabies, making this audiobook even harder to listen to.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Maybe, because the movie would probably leave out a lot of the fluff that was so dry to listen to.
