Publisher's Summary

Princess Celie and her companions have made it home safely from the Glorious Arkower, and everything is back to normal now that the Eye of the Castle is where it belongs. With more magical griffins to care for, Celie, Lilah, and Rolf have their hands full. But when the dangerous ancient wizard Arkwright escapes the dungeon and goes missing within the Castle, no one can rest until he is found. Only Celie knows where he is most likely hiding - deep within the secret passageways behind the walls of their beloved Castle. With danger lurking behind every tapestry and under every trap door, Celie must find the wizard and save her family.

Where does Fridays with the Wizards rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's pretty high. It's near the top ones. And especially so for Children's book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The Castle, who else? We, as the readers/listeners, must also follow the rest and love our dear Castle.

Any additional comments?

I don't know why I like this book and this series so much. But there are probably issues. But for some reason, it's not as apparent as other books. One of the issues I have with most other books is consistency, or a developed plot versus a forced plot.

Everything in this book and its series seemed "natural". Event A led to Event B and that led to Event C and it made sense. If I were in the protagonist's shoes, I would probably done something similar. Other than the plot itself, which was totally awesome, this is one of the main reasons why I enjoyed this book. Things made sense.
