An exciting middle grade novel featuring Raven Queen, daughter of the Evil Queen!
I'm so hexcited for spring break! It's royally disappointing that Dad has to cut our time together short, but it's royally cool that I get to spend the break with my best friends forever after, Madeline Hatter and Cerise Hood! I just hope I can shake this fairy, fairy weird feeling I've been having. It's almost as if my mom, the Evil Queen, put a curse on me! But she's in mirror prison, so that's impossible...right? Maybe I'm just losing my crown!

Of all Ever After High Books this is mediocre!
Perhaps if this book have been given a fresh new story, new adventures and new characters. It felt like there was nothing new to say so the author tried to use the material that exists and used a story that have been chewed over and over to the cartoon and at least one previous book. Very disappointed... perhaps if Raven had instead wrote fragments of stories there are new to fans would been at least refreshing.
I'll give a try for upcoming audiobooks of Ever After High after i have a change to at least read a little bit at a book story before make a point to buy an audiobook version.
Hard to say I truly dislike this book with a passion that spoiled everything else about it.
I guess I couldn't say Raven since the book was about her... so in that case id have cut Maddie and Cerise and brought in more obscure characters.
So far Ive loved the series... though some books I enjoyed best than others this book was a chore to listen... I was sadly glad that was a short book or Id have to skip a lot of chapters. I followed Ever After High web episodes, movies and all previous books but this one left me with a bitter taste of disappointment ... my first reaction when I saw was surprise and thought i had a gut feeling that it was probably a boring book, I still gave it try. The Narrator did a great job as all previous books. But the material the author had to work with was the problem. The book also mentions the movie Dragon Games and that was the only cool thing worthy of notice. Why Mattel wasted a book with such potential it baffles me. Perhaps Im being too picky, but I felt cheated for the short time and price of the audiobook. perhaps if was $4 id been ok. But i spent the money I could buy one of the many books I have on my wish list for a mediocre book. Sorry this was one of the most negative reviews I ever done.
