Over time the stories grew familiar, moving from strange to charming, and becoming escapist morality plays for all. Some beloved fairy tales originated in England. Narrator Joanna Daniell does justice to each story here. Her voice has a warm, mature timbre. She performs the stories at a leisurely pace so that young listeners can follow along, and older ones can relish the wonderful quirkiness of each piece. And Daniell very convincingly manifests an assortment of quaint characters, many of whom have thick colloquial accents. Her flexible voice slips back and forth between dialogue and narrative with ease.

I loved this book sooooo much.
It was nice,funny and a good learning experience. I would recommend this book if you are bored and want something to listen to. It is also a good book for kids 12 to 5 or older!!
