WE CAN'T GO AGAINST THAT GUY,

WE'RE NERDS
What I like most about this is that it makes science cool. Some young person is going to listen to this and decide to be a scientist. The book is also pretty funny. Their is one part where the robot starts to talk about puberty and Hero 6 tries to get him to shut up. The plot is a bit thin and the cool talk is a little thick, but kids should love it. Adults can tolerate it.

Disney shows why they are so successful. Getting Andrews to do the narration was masterful. Andrews is one of the best and has his pick of what to read.

- Jim "The Impatient" "My taste differs from kid books to gory horror books."

Why aren't there more kids' movie books like this?

What did you love best about Big Hero 6?

My kids love it! We've listened to it about 100 times so far.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Tadashi. He's noble and a great big brother. He's the reason anything in the story happened in the first place.

Then "Bay-Max." For obvious reasons.

What does MacLeod Andrews bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrator did voices or they had two voices: A narrator and then the main character. That's what made this book more like the movie. My kids were engrossed!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I think if we had time, we would listen in one sitting. However, our commute was only about 30 minutes so that's how long we'd listen. My 2 year old and me.
