Audible Editor Reviews

K-10 is a stray dog currently serving time in an animal shelter. Named K-10 by his mother, who believes him to be a step above other canines (or K-9), this snarky mutt is voiced by narrator William Dufris with the cocky attitude of a hero in an adventure film. The truth is, K-10 is ready to settle down, but his distrust of humans makes it difficult to find a good home. When K-10 busts out of the shelter with his friends Pearl and Peppy, the three embark on a series of misadventures that 2010 Audies finalist and one of AudioFile magazine's Best Voices in 2008 and 2009 Dufris spins with verve and excitement. Listeners will definitely want to join in the fun.

My 7 year old enjoyed this one over and over.

What did you love best about A Dog on His Own?

A great adventure with plenty of lessons learned along the way. My son and I both enjoyed it and then he listened to it several more times.
